Symposium Protein-Lipid Interactions, Friday, April 7

April 2017. The RTG Dynamic Interactions at Biological Membranes organises an afternoon symposium on protein-lipid interactions on Friday, April 7.

Protein-lipid interactions play a determining role for many biological processes such as e.g. in the function of ion channels or the dimerisation and signaling by GPCRs, but as well in the design of e.g. antimicrobial peptides. The symposium aims to bring together  current experimental and theoretical approaches in the study of the intricate interactions between proteins or peptides and lipids using biomembrane mimetic systems.
